Well I may have dissed it unfairly. A couple of hours on the optimate and it started straight away. Forget how quick revvving and angry sounding that IL4 is! If i I could ride it, i'd keep it. Cracking looking bike!

Chewing that over at the moment. I could ride it to work and back, but not day after day as it takes its toll on my cripple bits, but if I wasn't using it everyday, maybe it'd be okay? Be a nice stablemate for the X-ADV for sure, just not sure how much use it'd actually get?

You need a bike for every day of the week,TinPot. Sell it to the missus using the old handbag/shoes analogy. She'll understand.

If you enjoy riding it and have room for it keep it, it doesn't matter if you only ride it once a year, a bike doesn't have to make sense.

For me they do. I'd keep it in the back garden which means it'l have to get moved around a fair bit as it'll be in the way and if I'm not even using the bike it'll get on my nerves. :D I need a garage really...

Took it for its mot which is passed okay. Felt so strange to ride, it felt tiny like a moped! Although it didnt perform like one obvs! I was pleased at how i was able to ride it, as that means i've made progress with my knee. But as enjoyable as it was, it just confirmed to me that I dont want or have any use for it.

I've had it nearly a year and done about 500 miles on it! Waste of time and money really! :hmmm: :D

Put it on the optimate tonight. If the weather changes i'm going to use it to go to work and back for a week as its pretty much sat unused for most of the year i've had it. I suppose i should do the legal thing and tax it. What does a litre biek cost for tax anyway, abut a tenner a month? Not worth the risk really... :hmmm:

Got a viewing tonight. Took the cover to make sure it starts and was greeted with a bike like Ms Havisham ( CS) would have. God knows how so much dust and dirt got under the cover and it looked almost mummified with 10000 spider webs over it! Half hour later and she’s gleaming and starts on the button!

Lovely looking thing.

It really is, well headlight aside. Even my wife just said it a really nice looking bike. I really dont want to sell it whenever I look at it, but it just isn't used and is unlikely to get used, so off it goes...

I you'd of rode it, you'd of kept it... I've been struggling with selling the GS. On and off ebay etc. I'm keeping it now, doesn't get used much but it's a great bike, can be used for anything, a very, very versatile bike and have decided it keeps it's place in the garage.

It's easy selling if you need cash for something but if you don't and it's not in the way and you still like it, it's very hard to let go.

When I did a euro trip last year, that bike ( sounds daft this ) was my best friend, started every morning, never let me down, was absolutely brilliant and because of that, it's stays.

Sorry about that, anyway, that is a lovely looking bike, 👍
