Outage : 7th April 30 mins

Post by weeksy »

Morning felllas.

As you may have noticed, we had an SQL based outage this morning. It's been raised with the Techies and support, their initial answer was
We regret to inform you that we're currently experiencing unexpected problems with MySQL services on your server. Our senior technical staff is doing everything possible to address the problem at hand. It should take a few minutes. Please accept our most sincere apologies for any inconveniences this accident might have caused you or your business.
I will update when they have anything constructive other than this... but don't hold your breath

Dunno if it's just me, but I swear I'm putting in my user name and password correctly and it's taking 3 or 4 times to get it to log in?
Can't remember the excuse it gives in red writing, something about submission (submissive? Oooh)
Also weeksy can you change my user name to Dw? Pain in the arse typing this new user name. To bloody long.
I think easier if I just make it the same as the other forum.

Thanks weeksy.
Next complaint, your dodgy forum keeps kicking me out. Just before I clicked the thank thumbs up on your decat vid and wham, had to log back in.
It's doing it about 2-3 times per session and especially after posting, liking, anything that refreshes the screen.
I also keep getting the following message I have taken a screenshot of. Straight after I attempt to login and I definitely know I am putting my details in correctly. This can happen 2-3 times in a row.
It's no major issue, just a pain in the arse.

Probably discuss my being booted out issue here rather than old mate's thread.
This is the second attempt at this post I am making as it boots me as soon as I hit the submit button or I try to open a thread. It doesn't drop out while I'm typing or looking at something.
The last one was the fourth since I logged on tonight. I will now go and turn on the laptop and have a go. I am currently on the IPhone.

Righto,I'm on the laptop, but it's anti virus is going ballistic at the moment. The wife usually uses it, so I don't know what's making it go stupid. I will log back on tomorrow when I figure it out.
