Discovered I had a screw loose on the left rear-set, tightened it. I guess blue Loctite has a 15 year *best before* window.
Last time I touched that screw was Summer of 2005.
The only Allen wrench missing from the set was the one I needed, found another... then had a Garage Safari looking for the blue Loctite.

Sat and watched 2000+ litres of diesel get dumped because it had been sat for a year.

One day late....
23rd wedding anniversary. Hard to believe it was all those years ago and not a day goes by when I don't think I've picked an absolute corker of a lass. I like to think Mrs. G did ok too.
As going out options are fairly limited at present we had a Turkish takeaway and opened a bottle of champagne and then a bottle of 51 year old Italian red and quaffed the lot. It was bloody good drinking.

Still in total lockdown, so another excuse to just lock myself in the shed making stands for my guitars. Complete bliss really.

I went to my Mum’s and began making good her conservatory for a family Christmas. I cleaned, removed anything that dangled, de-moulded, stain blocked and painted. Looking great, I set off via Homebase. Tomorrow I get to go crazy with a caulking gun and put new curtains up. Super excited

Did some housework, fitted some bits to the walls in the bathroom, made a mounting plate for my bilge pump switch and broke the law*. Oh, and just made a big pot of chicken gazinty, probably 4 days worth.
*Over 65s are only allowed out between 10 am and 1 pm for the forseeable future but I have work to do on the boat so around 3 pm went up to the boat and got in 3 hours work.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Mrs G has just come back from her parent's. Her mum has been in quite a decline for a few months but recently it seems as if the end is in sight. Constant chest infections, dementia and arthritis have taken their toll. She has the look if somebody who has simply given up and talks (when awake and lucid) about dying and not wanting to be here anymore.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Finished insulating metal shed roof.
Mrs M, the Electric Valkyrie did her best to send me to Sto-vo-kor on todays bicycle ride, I'm a broken man tonight.
Now watching the ferrets run rings around the Staffies, with the Cuddly Sandy Ferret (he's not, he thinks he's a honey badger) chasing Nate and Pepper our new Polecat Jills around the living room and kitchen with extreme prejudice.

Re: What have you done today thread?
I needed one and I'm sure as hell not paying 7.50 for one on eBay when I can spend a few hours making one.

Re: What have you done today thread?
I'd probably put a bit of foam or rubber on the touch points though, I'm not precious over my guitars but over time you'll probably end up with marks on the touch points and it's easy to fix.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Yeah thanks, that ones not quite finished yet, I normally just cut up a bit of old inner tube. Helps stop it sliding off as well.

Serviced my lads Corsa and fixed a bust fog light, then dragged out the leaf sucker and hoovered up 3 big sacks of leaves from the bloody Ash tree.
Then realised chain needed adjusting on my Trumpet, so did that and also filled up the Scottoiler
Thats me done for the day bow.....
