Denying assault? really
Denying assault? really

The evidence is actually in the photograph or is she hanging out for more publicity or it's not assault but the charges will be reduced?

Re: Denying assault? really
After Trump's dodging a bullet at the weekend, Farage's dousing with a milkshake seems oh-so-very-British.

I'd love to know what her defence is, will she claim she was doing it to prevent a bigger crime?

Re: Denying assault? really
I guess the defence think that there's enough people who can't stand Farage so the jury will be loaded in her favour.
She's stupid of course, easily seen by too much lip filler.

Is it assault if you were paid as part of a publicity stunt?Newey wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2024 2:45 pm https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c0krp7gqq4no

Maybe the police and CPS wanted her to get off but had to be seen to do something so they chose the most exaggerated charge they could.not guilty to assault by beating and criminal damage.

To be fair, chucking a milk-based product at El Farrago is almost a traditional English election activity these days.

If you're going to live at the extreme end of politics, then you have to take the extreme end of politics.weeksy wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2024 9:58 pmWould you accept it if done to you?mangocrazy wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2024 9:57 pm To be fair, chucking a milk-based product at El Farrago is almost a traditional English election activity these days.

Earlier, some little le chav shouted I was a connard from his nobby hatchback and then sped off.
Same kind of deal really, except I don't have a fan club to get indignant on my behalf.

Considering the vote share % he got, i'd say he is more mainstream than extreme now.Rockburner wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2024 10:06 pmIf you're going to live at the extreme end of politics, then you have to take the extreme end of politics.weeksy wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2024 9:58 pmWould you accept it if done to you?mangocrazy wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2024 9:57 pm To be fair, chucking a milk-based product at El Farrago is almost a traditional English election activity these days.

You know the rules: Anybody to my right is extreme right wing. That's rather missing the point - I'm not an attention-seeking populist demagogue. Also, my comment was not intended to be entirely serious.weeksy wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2024 9:58 pmWould you accept it if done to you?mangocrazy wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2024 9:57 pm To be fair, chucking a milk-based product at El Farrago is almost a traditional English election activity these days.

Ummmm is it ? Is it really ? So if you're attention seeking you can be assaulted without consequence ? WTF. No wonder this world is full of nutters.mangocrazy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 12:04 amThat's rather missing the point - I'm not an attention-seeking populist demagogue.
