My 'things to do' list is mostly about visiting countries. I find new places, food and cultures endlessly interesting, and try to go somewhere new on every holiday.

In each country on my seemingly endless list I have things I'd like to see and do - like cross the Denmark to Sweden bridge, for example.

I used the 'Countries Been' app recently to tot up where I've been so far - 34 countries so far (I find it annoying that places like Madeira aren't considered countries in their own right ).

I'll be adding number 35 later this month, and hopefully number 36 by the end of the year.

Very nice but not for me. I need to be a max of a 10 minute walk from the nearest English pub and chippy. I'm going full native when i get there!

Of my 34 I've been to Cyprus, UAE, and Malta (many, many, times) for work (but also been to Cyprus for a hol), and the rest have all been under my own steam
India later this year (at least, that's the current plan) will be for work too.

Incidentally, if you count England, NI, Scotland and Wales as separate countries, I'm actually at 37

I reckon I've got a few years to catch up with you and Moofo Less for MLSP and Bob, but I'm closer to them

I've not been to many countries really. Would love to have been to/go to more if I can.

Think I'm on around 7 A few more than once (10 if we're separating the UK!! Well, 16 if the IoM and Guernesy/Jersey/Sark/Herm/Alderney count as separate! )

But there'll be more in the future for sure (I hope!)

I like going places but I don't have much patience for getting there IYSWIM - so I tend to go relatively short haul to places in Europe. On the plus side, there's so many places to go even within that remit and typically everyone is really lovely. Fortunately I'm not remotely bothered about the southern hemisphere or eating wild berries with natives up mountains - maybe one day.
