Well done the referee seeing past the antics of Kane!

Re: UEFA Euro 24
The Netherlands v Turkey game was great, real end to end stuff. Shame one of them had to lose.
Why is it that Englands games are never exciting, except for maybe the last few minutes?

I've a lot of pals here with kids who were born here.
They have split loyalty and support both Spain & England.
Might be a torn final

Re: UEFA Euro 24
Just walked home from town after a few cheeky beers with pals.
Passed a few local pubs and they were bouncing.
Dozens of kids playing outside and all wearing the yellow and orange.
Love it here

I can't be doing with all this rolling on the ground, grimacing whilst holding legs, feet, backs when they've barely been touched, if touched at all, it's just so much bad sportsmanship
Good game otherwise so far, some nice goals by the Spanish

This is where VAR could prove its worth. But that will never happen.MrLongbeard wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 8:49 pm I can't be doing with all this rolling on the ground, grimacing whilst holding legs, feet, backs when they've barely been touched, if touched at all, it's just so much bad sportsmanship

I bite my tongue often, but the Spanish guys were embarrassing at times.MrLongbeard wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 8:49 pm I can't be doing with all this rolling on the ground, grimacing whilst holding legs, feet, backs when they've barely been touched, if touched at all, it's just so much bad sportsmanship

Well, I think England's best tactic tomorrow will be to concede an early goal then play for time.

Great game last night, very entertaining if that matters . I've put my positive head on today and reckon England will win, one way or the other.

Re: UEFA Euro 24
So who's watching later ? Going to pub or staying in at home ?
Predictions ?
Team style the same ? (Dull and processional) or a sense of urgency ?
I mean really with the players they have, England could play the same style as Spain, they're good enough.... but they won't will they ?

Watching it home. I expect England to win but not easily. I also think England will beat Spain. Get thee to the bookies and never forget how I made you all rich!
