St Edwards, Stow-on-the-Wold at a guess (which is nearly an anagram of Hollywood :D ).

No pictures today. I can confirm that Wales is wet, arrived Hollyhead like a cold wet rat. Now the sun is out, and I am on the ferry.

Supposedly inspiration for Hobbit houses.

Last year we got the Holyhead / Dublin boat.Luckily the sun was shining at Holyhead,it looks a bleak port to be hanging around in the rain waiting for the ferry

Dublin today, it isn't raining, and I am off to breakfast. Crossing was smooth, the sun shone and then we docked in Ireand and it rained some more.

Not many pics from yesterday, but an epic route. The planned Mourne Coastal route was good, but I always go off piste and the ring of the High Mournes was signposted, and it would be rude to refuse. Prior to that Betsy (my sat nav, named for my Mum who's direction were legendary) had a major wobble, so I navigated by compass, always choosing the smallest road. One road in particular was narrow, the panniers were scraping the bushes on both sides, and I had to duck under branches that still hit my helmet. Others were incredibly scenic, but I was racing a big, very black, cloud, so no stopping for pics. Many other roads were perfect, smooth tarmac, sweeping bends, and very little traffic.
Today is Belfast, bike left in hotel car park, and playing at tourists.

Now in Derry, via the North Coast. Some spectacular scenery, some excellent roads, and a lot of very narrow nadgery roads. Weather forecast to be damp in the morning, and missing down after lunch. The missing down bit never happened, but is now forecast for tomorrow.

Some pics to follow.
