Re: UEFA Euro 24
Walking down to the pub I was wondering where to watch the final.
20 mins ago I was laughing at the thought.
Maybe not now

The Scots are supporting Slovakia? You surprise me. I was in Scotland in 2006 and they all seemed to support Trinidad & Tobago. Surely they're not that fickle.

In a survey we asked 100 people what UK folk moan about the most.
Top answer. The weather
Second top answer. Football.

Watching the Spain game
Why aren't they playing the ball across and back? All this playing the ball forward won't do them any good. They have got to start playing it backwards to have any chance of winning. Have they not watched Englands' games?

Well, they got away with that one, but surely they can't progress against the better teams with this style of football, we will see on Saturday.

Re: UEFA Euro 24
Well its not unthinkable in truth. I've seen teams play worse and eek out a result. 2nd half they were a lot more positive and played a lot better. So yeah i can see them getting further. They're still one of the least enjoyable teams to watch in the tournament though.

Re: UEFA Euro 24
I thought England played much better. Long crosses to unmarked players on the wing, something they never do. They just seemed to have more awareness of each other. That said I was as frustrated at the failed attempts and then we were 80 seconds away from going out and in it went!

Turkey Austria was an awesome game, end to end, battles of wills, attacks after attacks... nice.

Re: UEFA Euro 24
Watching it as I consider Spain my second team. Thought they'd done it, but the sneaky Germans got one in at the last minute. Extra time now...

I can see it on a big screen across the way.
