Friday Fred
Just chilling so starting this thread early. Sue me
Friday. Us and a few pals are off for a scrummy dinner at the golf club. Normally I hate golf clubs, but they have an amazing outside patio overlooking the thousands of palm trees.
Will be booze, so an afternoon nap.
Meeting 2 pals for few beers evening.
Saturday. Another mega enduro day. Last week was nearly 6 hours.
Sunday. Full house for MotoGP as usual. Followed by mega BBQ. Will probably go on all day

Re: Friday Fred
Tomorrow heading to Homebase for supplies and then on Sunday off to my Mum's to make good her conservatory ready for Chrimbo. Cleaning windows, lick of white masonry paint and putting some new, bright red ( ) curtains up. Not looking forward to it but keeping my mind on the end goal. Son no.1 and his girlfriend have offered minion services so with a bit of music and a few laughs (Laurel & Hardy stylie) it will almost be enjoyable. May chuck some Rino Goo and water at my bike

For once something different. I'm off to another island to do some training, as long as the ferry isn't cancelled because of bad weather. And back home on Sunday.

Re: Friday Fred
A sort of lockdown starts at 8pm this evening here with over 65s only allowed out between 10am and 1pm daily, until the end of December apparently. That makes a lot of sense . . . to someone I guess.
I have work to do and neither Recep or fecking covid are not going to cost me another 6 weeks of work on the boat so I'll be breaking the rules I think.
Hamsi and salad at Frankie's this evening before the lockdown starts and the rest of the weekend? I'll find something to do!

Don't leave any valuables on display in the car down there, got more than their fair share of scrotes in Thornhill.
The hospital facilities are bloody good though

Re: Friday Fred
Waiting for NCX to arrive today and hopefully get out for a ride on it today or over the weekend.
Hopefully got Step Dad and Sister over for dinner this evening.
Got to paint my Daughters bedroom over the weekend as she's possibly coming home next week after spending lockdown at her boyfriends.

No real plans. I've managed to get most of my Dadmin done this week as it's the wife's birthday tomorrow. Just replace a belt on the tumble drier today and then I'll be chilling with the famalam all weekend.

Cycling - out for an hour or so in the mud, give my new Mucky Nutz a good test (which I think it will fail)
YPVS fiddling - fitting the bits of frame I've been sent (rear part that mounts the tail light, chopped off by a previous owner) and getting it ready for welding, last bit to be done before completely stripping it down so the frame can be stove enamelled

Re: Friday Fred
Early G&T at around 5.00pm then curl up infront of the TV, its been a busy week.
Tomorrow morning off to Portsmouth to see HMS Dragon come in and pick up my lad. Haven't seen him since August. Will bring him home and feed and water him. He's been sleeping in a narrow bunk for the last 3 months so I'm sure he'll just want to go and crash out in a proper bed.
Saturday night will open the 18yr old Macallan Single Malt he bought me for my birthday and no doubt put a big hole in it!
Sunday watching MotoGP, cleaning and ACF50 job on the Triumph, Sunday evening take son back to Portsmouth.
Have a good one all

Re: Friday Fred
Don't work fridays atm so lazy 9am get up for me.
Cooked myself a full english then roast for dinner.
I'm working on a minimal house track so have spent most of the afternoon working on that. Sounding sweeeeeeet, pure Plastikman style.
Just going through a few tracks on Discogs now and wondering if i can afford to buy any.
I'm planning on testing my big new mix later. I have a reggae, a dub and a dnb mix going on at the moment and i am going to try and play all three as one mix.
I'm sure i will post back on here later after a few more ciders and some mushroom tinc....

Re: Friday Fred
Possibly take the NC out for a run as it's been doing commuter runs which are too short - my beeline moto GPs thing arrived today so I might play with that as well ...or I might have a lie in ...

Wind forecast is excellent for tomorrow morning so hit the beach with windsurf kit early (8.30ish) and sail for a couple of hours.
Snooze through the afternoon!
Sunday - bike ride and then finish some decorating that I started last weekend!

Re: Friday Fred
Working today, then VERY soggy dog walk which I just got home from. Having 3 dogs with LED flashing lights on them, all running a different speeds in different directions in a pitch black field really messes with your sense of balance.
Saturday, minor decorating, MTB ride on the muddy Downs, it's now turned into that really sticky claggy mud. Finish insulating the shed roof.
Sunday, MTB ride, dog walk and roast + beers.

Re: Friday Fred
Last rest day on Saturday so head home, bit of tidying , sort out the leaves in the garden, then steak dinner in the evening.
Sunday, back on my head, early shift, reduced staff after regional management team finally woke up to the fact there’s bugger all traffic on the road at the moment!! Now watch me have a big incident at 0615 Sunday.
Work all week.
Still looking for a bike but unsure what I want. Tourer, sports tourer, adv, or just something to play on that can tour!!!
Have fun whatever your up to,
Mick
