Re: Hamilton to MotoGP
Nadia runs that team in memory of her husband.
They have massive funding so no reason to sell.
More shite from Visordown.

Re: Hamilton to MotoGP
You did say something similar about Pramac to Yamaha...?

Re: Hamilton to MotoGP
Not just VD as I have read a similar story on 2 or 3 other motoring sites so the rumour is starting to circulate

Re: Hamilton to MotoGP
It may just be a silly season rumour, but given that Hamilton will be driving for Ferrari next year and will be spending a lot more time in Italy, the story might have some legs. I don't know how many years Lewis has left in F1 (I doubt even he knows), but you could see him leaving the day to day running of the team to the current management before transitioning to a more hands-on role when he retires from F1.
But it's still just a rumour. Time will tell.

Re: Hamilton to MotoGP
It'd probably be their best time to sell, crest of a wave and all that.
Hamilton's had a thing for bikes for a while - Rossi, MV etc. and he can probably just about afford it
Doesn't sound too far fetched.

Re: Hamilton to MotoGP
Buying a BSB team would be easier. He could use his money to improve stuff.
Lots of teams would love his money.

Re: Hamilton to MotoGP
I would guess that a 7 time world champ and the official GOAT would probably want a MotoGP team over a BSB one, but I dunno.

Re: Hamilton to MotoGP
I'd imagine MotoGP gets a bit more international exposure than BSB. Despite BSB probably being the most competitive production class after WSBK.

Re: Hamilton to MotoGP
With Liberty Media at the helm, and intent on growing the profile of MotoGP, there's clearly a strong commercial upside, and now would be the time to get on board...

Re: Hamilton to MotoGP
So Hamilton doesn't actually deny it, but he doesn't confirm it either. Probably the most telling point is him saying 'I am definitely interested in equity.'
I'd call that a definitely maybe.
