I took a look at CNN an hour after the debate, they had a panel lead by that Anderson Cooper prick. They looked shell shocked & admitted it was a disaster.

I only saw about 30 secs, but Biden was clearly confused. Trump was not, but IMO is totally unfit for other reasons. I am glad I don't have to chose between the two.

Re: This time next year, President Trump moves back into the Whitehouse...
The shit has hit the fan today & it's only just starting. People who usually only watch the *non-Fox* media finally got to see unedited Biden as the debate was aired on all channels.
Now there's a report that Obama & his cronies are having a *sit-down* with Biden about last nights clusterfuck & Harris is said to be beyond pissed off that it's already been made obvious that she won't be his replacement. Talk is Benito Newsolini or Whitmer.
There's still a few people stating that Biden is fine. (Speaker Jefferies about lost his shit live on air) The next WH presser is going to be a bloodbath.

Both Trump & Biden have campaign events today. Trump's starts in a few hours, Biden's was already supposed to have started but he hasn't shown up (yet).

I really fail to understand how it came to this. On the one hand we have a convicted felon, serial liar and riot instigator, on the other hand we have a bumbling old twat who really should be in a dementia home. And these are your candidates for the most powerful office in the world.Cousin Jack wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2024 4:14 pm I only saw about 30 secs, but Biden was clearly confused. That's already been 100% debunked. The (uncut/unedited) video of his speech clearly shows him saying to protest peacefully & patriotically. Plus it's on record that he requested NG troops for security two days before the event & Pelosi denied the request.mangocrazy wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2024 6:26 pm I really fail to understand how it came to this. Biden showed up at the campaign event a bit late, clearly full of Adderal & able to follow the prompter. His people have said he will be at the next debate... altho they didn't say if he would be a spectator.

Re: This time next year, President Trump moves back into the Whitehouse...
SCOTUS just ruled that the Jan 6th protesters were wrongly charged/convicted of felonies & the crimes were merely misdemeanors that don't carry huge fines or jail sentences.
Trump is calling for the *hostages* release.

Are the Democrats able to actually change their Presidential candidate at this point? Assuming they wanted to, of course...

At the moment, BBC News' main story is Biden saying he won't step down. He's a politician, so it must be true.

He literally can't *step down*. The feeds had cut last night when he went to step off the stage. There were 2 or 3 steps, it took two people to steady him as he navigated the precipice...Horse wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2024 10:47 pm https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c9wv821nljwo

Re: This time next year, President Trump moves back into the Whitehouse...
Believe what? I merely quoted Trump. As for the SCOTUS, just another case of the Biden's DoJ over-charging people with felonies when they committed misdemeanors (sound familiar?)
Media & Democrats getting "some feedback" today about lying to everyone about Biden's mental acuity, altho some of these shitstains are still saying Biden is fine. Harris said he's the best he's ever been.... FFS.
As for earlier comments about Trump lying, Biden stated no one died on his watch.. which caused the DoD to bring up the 13 dead at Abbey Gate & 3 or 4 others in Jordan. He also claimed the Border Patrol & their union endorse him for POTUS, which lead to the BP stating they never have & never will endorse him (before the debate was even over).

According to the radio yesterday, unlike here, the US parties can't dump the candidates. (I don't think they're elected as party leader by the party, just as candidate by the voters. Given the nature of US politics, I could be wrong).mangocrazy wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2024 10:31 pm Are the Democrats able to actually change their Presidential candidate at this point? He's not the official candidate yet, so yes. Though it would likely require him to step aside voluntarily without causing a huge mess.mangocrazy wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2024 10:31 pm Are the Democrats able to actually change their Presidential candidate at this point? You can't 'debunk' things that happen, just rumours and theories.
You can certainly argue one way or the other by interpreting his words however you like, but one thing's for sure, that Capitol tour group went horribly wrong

Pretty much that. He’s not the formal nominee until August, but he already has enough pledged votes to get the nomination.Slenver wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 7:32 amHe's not the official candidate yet, so yes.
