Is it me or does it look like the Painochocolat rider brake-tested the car behind and got hit?

Bitches, please....

But actually, in the real world I could swap my 1200 Monster for one of these with very little dosh..

If I'm going to wobble round Portimao for three days, I might just do it on an Pani ;)

Seems £8k would buy a nice one (my monster should fetch £7k).
Use it through spring, TD it, then swap it for a multistrada after Portimao. Seems like pretty solid man logic to me :)

Never did make it to a track with it which is very poor form, there is definitely an itch to be scratched there..

So, @G.P bagsee I get a go too ;) (or maybe I should just buy that white one so Weeksy could maybe have a choice of two

Not a Panigale but the V4 Streetfighter so here's as good a place as any for it - interesting to me review from Neevsy here

A bit sterile :(
The people I know with them say they're very easy to ride, etc, so that probably sounds about right.

A V4S Multi will probably be perfect then, but for a naked you need a bit of excitement, so it looks like the Aprillia takes the top spot.

Well, apart from it not being the KTM 1290 it might guy do.

Lovely looking thing, but that tank range for the road would do me in. 👎

Yep, that was a stand out bit for me and sort of is the way I think of my 765 compared to its peers (well a KTM 790 or 890 anyway)- brilliant, very well developed, and ultimately faster, and although it makes a brilliant noise and it could be said is very characterful, is missing that last couple of % of character.
In common the Streetfighter, I think that has more than a bit to do with the wheelie factor too....

For me bikes must have at least one stand out factor, something that it does really well or some sort of quirk that makes me fall in love with it.
If it's just good at everything then it doesn't raise any emotion and I ride bikes to get some sort of emotional kick, if that's not there it's just a mode of transport and given the choice I'd probably take the car.

Back in my 20's I had a group of friends who rode various Ducati's, mainly 748R's. I couldn't understand why, I had an R6 and could ride rings around them. They kept telling me about character, I thought it was all bollocks. All the modern bikes have had have all been very capable.

It's not until I randomly decided to buy a 500 Bullet (mainly influenced by a trip to Goa, I suppose) that I discovered the joys of flawed motorcycles.

It's slow, which is good because the brakes are shite, it handles ok for what it is I suppose, It's not even an old one, it's a 2014 with EFI, but I flippin' love it. Everytime I ride it I pretend I'm Troy Corser riding that Supercharged BMW at Goodwood.
