How do you feel about cycling mikey
So what is your take on cycling mikey, the internet famous guy filming people on telephones and the infamous gandalf corner on regernts park.
Some hate him, personally I think he is doing a job the police should be doing.

I had to Google him ....
He seems like a bit of an interferer and he has a really whiney voice, I'd probably try to run him down too ...

Never heard of him and reading comments on this thread he very much sounds like someone I don't wish to know.

Re: How do you feel about cycling mikey
I have never heard of cycling mikey, if you'd said the hawk tuah girl that would be different.
Re: How do you feel about cycling mikey
Allegedly the most hated person in some area according to the internet.
People using a car as weapon seem to get away with it, which is worse IMO.
Apart from when they are Police agent provocateurs????
What makes you say interferer? We seem to be Ok with annoymous reporting of motorbike speeding/or allegedly driving dangerously.
Sort of know him, and think he is doing good, having been kncoked off by people on their phones while driving and meeting a car driver at Gandalf corner. Met Police traffic did nothing.
Goes off to google....is it good?

Re: How do you feel about cycling mikey
I'm fine with anyone reporting dangerous driving. But if you have enough "incidents" to make a YouTube channel about then it seems clear what the common factor is. I'm not convinced that one-man-self-appointed-plod is helpful.

Fine, let's toddle off to google if you're not going to post link or clip up.................., OK so just another knobber with a gopro strapped to his head.......
Watched 2 clips, one he blocked the road at this Frodo corner, OK you want to be that guys that reports illegal shit / driving / phone use, fine go ahead and get your jollies, want to put yourself in danger by blocking a 2 ton car then you're nothing more than a vigilante on a short journey to being smeared along the road.

I've never heard of him, which as we all know, is the standard measure of celebrity on this forum, therefore he is a non entity.

Sorry, didn't post up a link as I was also trying to guage how many people knew of him.MrLongbeard wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 6:39 pmFine, let's toddle off to google if you're not going to post link or clip up.................., OK so just another knobber with a gopro strapped to his head.......

As for that junction at regents park, I admire/thank him for doing that. Have come round that corner (while cycling and not very fast) to be met by a car ignoring the keep left bollard and more importantly me on the road. Seen a few bikers on the floor there too.
As more of a London cyclist, so many people are on their phones (texting and scrolling through stuff) while cycling and riding motorbikes.

Be sure to send him flowers in the hospital when he gets taken out, he's got as much sense as a just stop oil protestor from the clip I watched

Re: How do you feel about cycling mikey
Does he ever video cyclists jumping red lights, riding amongst pedestrians on the pavement, riding on the wrong side of the road etc. I ride in central London daily and cyclists are the biggest PITA i encounter and the ever useless Met Police just watch them do it. Perhaps Mikey boy could help them out?katana wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 10:45 pmSorry, didn't post up a link as I was also trying to guage how many people knew of him.MrLongbeard wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 6:39 pmFine, let's toddle off to google if you're not going to post link or clip up.................., OK so just another knobber with a gopro strapped to his head.......

From my law studies as a kid, I think you can break a law to stop another being broken if it more serious.Taipan wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2024 9:40 am Also the ever useless Met Police should nick him!

I think illegally jumping out in front of a moving vehicle has greater implications than an illegal manoeuvre. Hang 'em high!

I believe that's the argument Just Stop Oil use, I'm not sure any of the ones blocking roads have been arrested to test it.Yorick wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2024 9:57 amFrom my law studies as a kid, I think you can break a law to stop another being broken if it more serious.Taipan wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2024 9:40 am Also the ever useless Met Police should nick him!
