A first for me today

Post by cheb »

I'm quite used to underwhelming people but today capped it all.

I was leaving the house in my usual attire, a used boilersuit, neck tube hat and working boots, and heading to my van. I was asked by a tourist if I lived there, the tourist gesturing towards my house. When I answered yes they responded with a disappointed 'Oh'. and walked off.

Odd really.

Well don't leave us in suspense. Do you really live there?

I'm sensing a double-bluff.

They were expecting a proper Scotch with a skirt and a big furry sporran. :(

They were probably undercover immigration officials or planning officers checking out whether your back garden actually is at the back. :)
