This weekend. Seems like they haven't raced in months.

It's the inaugural of the Women's series too,does that stir any interest? I'll probably watch it to see,as I know nothing about any of the riders,nor which bikes they are using.

2023 Women’s European Champion Beatriz Neila said,"this Championship allows women to fight for a world title, to have the ranking, to see who is the fastest woman in the world, season by season, to be recognised, to take advantage of our status as a woman in the world of motorbikes, and to show the world what women can do on a bike". "All of this can be achieved by creating a women's World Championship in which we can compete women against women".

I'm not sold on that ethos, Ana Carrasco won her 300 world title while racing against men on the world stage,proving it can be done,but maybe it'll bring on more female talent to compete against everyone as Ana has done.

Thought it was ok.

Bit of a nasty crash in the first go at the race, I assume, wasn't on camera. Last lap of the (final) re-start was pretty good.

Shame they've gone with A2 bikes.

The top 3 were exactly as I expected before the lights went out with the top 2 having shit loads of experience against their male counterparts over the years. Difference in lap times on identical bikes of 6-7 seconds a lap between the leaders and back of the pack doesn’t exactly make for depth of field imo ……. More of a “make the grid look full”


Toprak on the other hand was superb entertainment with the Supersport a chess match till the last half a lap

Heard that being mentioned yesterday, I really hope he doesn’t as the GP is pish, I understand that it’s what he wants to do but hopefully he stays and maybe tries on a different manufacturer or continues with BMW, if he wins the championship of course. Which he will

When you are leading so far you can do a stoppie on the way to the line, then realise its too early and do another one right on the line before 2nd place catches up

The WCR race 2 was a bit better with the 4 best riders swapping places all through the race. Herrera is probably the hardest of the 4 having a few years in world supersport under her belt already

Huertes double in WSS shows who Ducati will be looking at should Alvaro retire at the end of the year. the kid is fast and aggressive with it

Yeah that was funny, he’d have had to carry more speed to stoppie all the way from where he started the first one.

In the post race interviews it sounded pretty much like MotoGP is a goer if he wins the championship.

Interestingly, they reckon he's been using the base settings from last year for the first few rounds and now he's starting to tweak the bike to his preferences, which means he's only going to get fastererer.

Like they were saying if he’s that dominant at Misano it’s looking good for the tracks that he’s usually better at than Ducati. Fingers crossed for reliability, if there is no issues with the bike or tyres he will win the championship.
