Friday thread, the "WTF it's still winter" one
I'm not sure where spring/summer is, but we're not seeing it yet.
Fri. WFH and getting the boys suspension service at TFTuned Suspension, home later to re-fit and probably BBQ for tea
Sat. Riding with @crust and getting wet it seems. Mrs Weeksy and the boy are at Foo Fighters gig.
Sun. Fathers day, but the boy ain't here lol.... so chilling and likely a bit of WSB till they get back and then watching DHWC

Saturday domestic stuff, maybe put some shelves up in the new shed. Sunday off to my Daughters to have a sunday roast in her new home! It was supposed to be a BBQ, but, well, y'know. We've seen it being from the outside when it was being built, but this is the first time we've been in it.

Generally moaning about the weather, more sprucing up of the Guzzi, might even get the airbox off the Triumph and see how bad the filter is, should have done it last week when I had the carbs off for changing the throttle cable

More moaning about the weather from here After a bloody awesome day (albeit bloody long ride) on Weds, I was looking forward to some riding this weekend.
Today - was extra happy yesterday to have managed to get an appointment with the valley physio this evening - only to wake up to rain and low flying cloud. Here's hoping it clears!!
Tomorrow - probably recovering from physio, although he's gentler than the resort physio!! Might ride a bit if the sun comes out
Sunday - Might ride a bit if the sun comes out
Fucking bastard weather - and WTF is summer hiding FFS!!

Re: Friday thread, the "WTF it's still winter" one
I was down at the gaff in early April-mid May and the weather was very inconsistent. It was mid teens C for the first week or so, then 26-27 degrees for 3 or 4 days, at which point I thought 'here we go, summer's here'!
Then it went back to mid-teens and intermittent rain for weeks before finally rising above 20 deg C just before I left to come back to the UK. I've checked from time to time since and it's still not what I'd call summer in the S of F. And we're well away from both the Alps and the Pyrenees, so there's no real excuse...
There is no cloud, just somebody else's computer.

Re: Friday thread, the "WTF it's still winter" one
Today, work, pick up newly shortened short sleeve shirts, hand doggo over for weekend so I can get some peace, takeaway of some description no doubt
Tomorrow, day drinking in York with mates, hopefully I manage to get off the train at Newcastle on the way home…
Sunday, hangover recovery before lunch out with daughter no 1, daughter no 2 treated me last weekend. I also need to mark up and cut a steel plate to enable a new multi fuel burner to fit in the redundant gas fire surround, I’m hoping to be able to fit some vermiculite concrete panels in the hearth opening to insulate it and improve the efficiency of the burner, assuming the concrete sets in time!
The new burner gets installed next Friday, just in time for the summer…

I can't remember a previous spring that Ive lived here when the weather made me so miserable. Ok, TBF, this is the first time since I've lived here I've had a bike to ride and a shoulder that can deal with it. But still - unimpressed (to the point that I was looking at little cheap houses down near my friends cos it's slightly better there - and in a couple of years, it might be possible to get an interseason home!! LOL)

It was plural, she means both of us (you're oldest though).
