Folding Ebike.
First test outside the village today and very happy I am. Didn't fall apart, everything doing what it should. Can fit 2 in the back seat bit of a 08 honda civic. That's with magic seat's up.
Off to Arthog in a few weeks with mrs dodgy to take to the trails, no rough terrain mind. It has front suspension, of a kind and seat post suspension. Throttle only option, see vid. Pedal assist to 15mph, max throttle was about 24, more like 20 on the flat.
20inch wheels, 3 or 5 assist modes, lights, bell and pump included, what's not to like.

Re: Folding Ebike.
Out with mrs dodgy today. Her first proper ride on the ado. She's very happy. About 21 miles and a sore arse but other than that, all good.
All country lanes to her mums, then pub for lunch on return home.

Took the ADOs to Wales for a few day's. Cracking ride today, steep hills, lakes and pubs, what more does a bike ride need.
Didn't have the power for the steep bit's, so walking was involved. βΉ

Forget to mention my new land speed record, 40 mph.
THE END.

Matlock for a few day's. On route, a whiz around Carsington waters. Far too many mongy walkers there who don't move over even when your peddling towards them. I'm beginning to hate the human race, lovely day though.

Nice pedal today from Tansley to High Peak Junction, then down towpath for a few miles. Back to Cromford for refreshments at the Boat Inn. On through Matlock to the Bentley Brook brewery for more refreshments then home to cottage in Tansley. Cracking day had and the lady enjoyed it.

The bikes have found their way to Yorkshire... A nice pedal through Dalby forest today. Sunny with clouds and a freezing wind.

Ado a20+... Combo deal off their website was Β£1230 ish. There maybe newer models now but these do the job. Not great on rough tracks, but half decent surfaces its fine.
Ye, it rattles on the bumps, but they both fit in the car, 30 odd miles to a charge easy enough, throttle only if required. We keep them in throttle mode and kind of use a bit of both, even balance type thing. So throttle to help when needed.
We'll be on the Cinder track tomorrow heading for Robin Hood Bay all being well.

I think most of my use would be off-road - but not particularly rough stuff. Probably have to compromise on choice of routes in exchange for fold-ability I guess. Will ponder.....
