Re: Cake! (and lots of candles!)
Thanks guys.
My daughter is staying with us for a few days, and, having tried and failed to keep up with the perpetual motion machine that she is, I am feeling my age today. So far in 3 days she has walked about 20 miles and been swimming twice. I have been dragged along too.
Today, as a birthday treat, I have the day off while she is off on a 12 mile walk. Mrs CJ gave up after 2 days.

Re your Ireland trip … hope you enjoy it. It is very much a whistle stop tho - getting from Belfast to Stroke City (D/LD) in a day, having “done” the Causeway and Bushmills Distillery - you’ve missed far more worthwhile stuff than you’ve seen. Ask Skub! And you’re skipping all of Donegal apart from D town which isn’t special.
Treat the trip as a taster, with the intention to return and do it properly…
