Surely a fishing boat is just a really small ship??!!!

Don't let any nautical types gear you say that, but if you really want to fit in with them, call a ship a vessel, they love that. I think I need to change the industry I work in....

As a kid I used to love saying stuff like that to the old blokes (and some younger ones!) at the sailing club my BDad took us to!! But you are right! (Was trying to make it easier!! I mean, there's no ships or boats near me, possibly a kyak or 'raft' for the river, but that's about it! )
