Hauyi rebuild

Post by Sadlonelygit »

Haven't actually looked into it yet, but is it easier just to buy a new carb than rebuild one.
It's a strimmer/3-1 jobbie that I've had for 10 + years and fuel is coming out the vent hole for the diaphragm.
Probably need Wull's expertise here don't we?

Npt worth rebuilding...a new one should be less than a tenner.

Yeah 100% purchase a new carb as they are cheap enough, you could purchase a rebuild kit and the problem could still be there. We only tend to rebuild more premium strimmer carbs as it’s not really cost effective on the lesser ones.

With that being said we have used the Chinese carbs for a lot of Stihl strimmers instead of spending time rebuilding the oe carb and they work a treat.
