He got a long way compared to a couple I've seen.

My old local BMW dealer had to warn people not to pull too far out of the forecourt when checking the traffic before pulling away. The exit ramp sloped down, the road camber sloped up so a number of proud, not so tall, new bike owners had been left waggling their feet in the general direction of the ground as they fell not-so-elegantly sideways. The slopes weren't excessive but they added a 3 or 4 inches if you bridged them.Horse wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2024 2:48 pm He got a long way compared to a couple I've seen.

Director was told: 'go and film the last tram'.
He said, but I've got a great idea. How about ....
"No"
So he did anyway, was sacked afterwards.

Excellent!
I've driven vehicles with all the B series ehgines and they were very good, reliable power units. It's a pity that not all the army vehicles they were fitted to were built to the same standards! The B40 was the only engine in the series that had just a single set of contacts in the distributor.
