Donington BSB

Post by Bustaspoke »

I love the BSB racing it's often entertaining, but that 2nd Superbike race today was exceptional
I won't post any spoilers but it's well worth a watch.

I've seen hundreds of BSB races & that was one of the very best, great advert for the championship.
It was also good to see HRC had sent over some of there top engineers

I reckon Kent could be a dark horse for the title. Nothing silly yet and no crashes. Just racking up the points.

Hope he does well.

I agree,he's just getting on with it,being consistent.
He says that the Yamaha suits his riding style best as it suits someone who runs a high corner speed as opposed to late brakes, square it off & back on the gas.I think his problem is that he needs a clear track to make the most use of his style.Dave Neal had a good interview with him last week

If you like podcasts Dave Neal's done some excellent interiews, the one with Bosworth & Petronas was an eye opener :wtf:

Finally caught up with it all and agreed some superb racing. Good to hear that the front pack of riders were all laughing and joking with each other on the slow down lap after racing that close and nobody was grumbling about any of the passes

Is it just me who thought the Kawasakis were underfilled with fuel in the sprint race for them both to stop a couple of hundred metres apart and the talk of electrical failures and engine changes was a smokescreen to cover a basic fuck up within the team :?

It took me until yesterday to catch up ffs. Some great racing in all the classes. Good to see local lad Scott Swann bag his first podium in the Superstock, despite the unusual fuckup with the chequered flag a lap early.
