Re: Who Will You Vote For?
I'm not sure I should/can! I need to find someone living back where I was last registered who's willing to vote for me.
But also - I don't live there and have no interest in ever living there, so should I have a say?
Equally, if I do vote and it helps get rid of the self serving wankers that are in currently, maybe I should regardless, if I can!!

Re: Who Will You Vote For?
Well, I've registered apparently!
Or try the postal vote, but I seem to remember that being a farce for another vote?
Mind you - still haven't decided if I 'should' vote yet. Might have to call my big brother to chat (he does politics, I don't!! LOL)
Now I need to call/email them to find out if I can vote elsewhere or if it has to be Somerset!! Only, gotta find someone in Somerset that will vote how I wantYour application to register as an overseas voter has been received by Somerset Council.

I think given the current polling, Iccy must stand and be counted.

Re: Who Will You Vote For?
I'm going to hold my nose and vote for Labour, not because I like Starmah but because in my area theyre the vote most likely to get rid of the absolute shower of riverborne shite that is the Tory party.
I'd vote for a few other parties if they were the ones most likely to unseat them.
One way to find out which parties are most likely to stop the Torys in your area is on this here website.

Re: Who Will You Vote For?
Just had the first canvasser at the door!
'Can we depend on your vote?'
'Yes...in your dreams'.
(Actually I didn't answer the door, wife told them we were 'undecided'...the little fibber).
(The visit served as a timely reminder that I'm a victim of boundary change...boooh! They've wiggled quite a bit across the local constituencies and I'm now in the chunk of the area where the main population centre is somewhere I hardly go to, my local council isn't in it, you can't get a bus from here in that direction etc etc. I suppose it's just done on population numbers but I feel, somewhat irrationally, disgruntled).

So the rats are leaving the sinking ship now with a pack of them off down the mooring ropes.

Re: Who Will You Vote For?
Based on last time around, the only party with a cat in hell's chance of beating the Tories here is Labour.
Not that it means I'm necessarily going to vote Labour. Voting against a party strikes me as pretty dumb TBH, the other bunch could be way worse.
Honestly no idea who I'll vote for. I struggle to know what any of them actually stand for
