They are hated by 100% of the population.
So much so, that they never work near their home. They're shipped miles away.

Today the boat docked in Cadiz at 8 ish.

About 15 cars got off, then all the bikes.
The G.C. we're checking every car.
Only 1 guy checking. Other 5 sat around chatting.

We had to wait 20 minutes behind the 15 cars. The one guy was checking everything.
Then he stopped us bikes and asked for paperwork.
So 30 mins in total.

Behind us, over 100 cars on the boat waiting to unload. They'd be a couple of hours at least in a fume filled environment

If the other lazy twats did some work, there'd be much less time wasted.
But they're smug, arrogant wankers
French customs were the same when I was there the other year. One checkpoint to go out on the ferry, all done in a few minutes. Coming back Frenchies had 3 stops :wtf: and then the English border patrol. Loads of people missed their ferries.

A mate has a horror story involving them and some immigrants. Suffice to say Judge, jury and executioner.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Having to go out in the garden in the pissing rain (which it has been since 0100, it’s all flooded again) to convince youngest dog to go outside and have a💩.

Tea bags.

Not the tea bag itself, it's a wonderful invention. But why, oh, why, do they insist on joining two together, thus requiring the user to pull them apart to make a brew? Think of the collective man/woman hours wasted in the UK each year pointlessly separating the bags. And let's not start on the odd occasion when you ham-fistedly rip one of the bags attempting to separate them, usually at 6am in the morning.

One of my team makes the tea every morning, cos he’s in at 0500, without fail someone gets a ripped tea bag.
Still, they are Yorkshire tea so probably retain a tight grip on everything!

Stupid swimming pools.
The one here looks cool, so just been for a dip.
Fark. It's 6" deep at shallow end and 3' at deep end. No bloody good for swimming :(
You can see the tiles on bottom in photo.

Automatic flush sit down toilets
If I wanted my ball sack sprayed with cold water, I'd have gone swimming at V8s place

I believe there are some establishments which charge a lot of money for that form of entertainment.

I ordered my mate a bottle of Amaro online from Gerry's in Soho. Bloody lazy as I could have ridden over in my lunch, but there you go. Never received a confirmation email although I was debited on my Paypal account. By Wednesday it hasn't come, so I ring them to confirm all's good. They confirm the order has gone out via UPS. I get home yesterday and there's a slip shoved in the post box, telling me that after three attempts to deliver, they're giving up. Fuckers. That's the first slip I've received saying they've tried to deliver it.

Anyway, I ring Gerry's, who are very old school, and they ask me if I want a refund etc. I explain that my mate is a London cabbie, so when it's back in, let me know and I'll tell him to drop in and pick something up for me. Little will he know it's his own birthday present he's picking up. Bloke laughed at my cunning plan.

If you're in Soho, it's always good for an obscure bottle of your favourite tipple.

No-alcohol and Lo-alcohol infusions are quite the thing these days. Apparently.

I've tried one or two - but without the alcohol in the mix they taste utterly revolting.

Maybe you'd get used to it?? (after all - we get used to the flavour of alcohol...)

Agreed. Give me a poncy tonic with ice and several pieces of random fruitage and I'm happy with that.

Alcohol free beers are the pits, but I've sussed that 0% Peroni + full fat Peroni mixed together is pretty good, and only half the alcohol. No good if you're driving, obvs, but if you need to be a bit sensible because it's a school night, it's a winner.
