I used to work for a woman who was the niece of Mick McManus.

She gave him odd jobs. He used to come into the office to get paid.

The Brian Glover 'It's no joke living in Barnsley' is a classic documentary. It's on Youtube. I live in Barnsley and it's mildly amusing.

My dad spoke to Mick McManus on the phone once. Nearest connection I have to celebrity.

Les Kellett gad a sort of comedy thing going.

Dave Logan was an object of audience hatred.

The Wild Man of Borneo was hairy.

Jackie Pallo’s gimmick was not having a gimmick and just wrestling.

I felt the wrestling peaked in the 90s with the likes of Johnny B Badd and The Undertaker. Also they had specific matches where the aim with to throw your opponent through tables. It made the wrestling of the 60s and 70s look amateurish.
