What is DMAX? I'm at a mate's house later and they have satellite tv with access to sky and eurosport - am I going to be able to find todays stuff on there? (If there's any racing today, haven't looked!!

Ta for the heads up. I notice coverage was light on TNT,but nothing showed up on Quest.

Now booked on DMAX. I didn't even know it existed!

I've been watching it on the app, but they've halted the coverage after a massive crash on the warm up lap of the BMW Cup feature race that took 6 or 7 bikes out just at they were setting off.

DMAX are showing the Superteens instead.

It wasn't a fast incident, they were just setting off from the grid on the warm up lap, the bunch that crashed hadn't even got over the start line, but there were bikes everywhere.

I think the biggest accident of the weekend was Skinner's crash at Island bend, that's a scary place to crash & for his crash helmet to come off in the accident is very worrying. The last time I saw that happen was to Simoncelli at Sepang.
I don't know what brand of helmet he uses but I hope they quickly find out why it came off his head.

Yeah, that was pretty scary looking, especially when he didn't move for a while after he came to rest.

He was poncing about the paddock this afternoon tho'

Simo had big hair and Skinner is similar. I wonder if that is a common factor,or reason for helmet ejection.

I listened to his interview with Shane Byrne & he didn't seem to be as beaten up as I expected, but he said he wasn't sure if he'd be racing at Donington because of his concussion

I wonder if he'll get the clippers out before his next race,or if there's something else that caused his crash helmet to fly off?
No one wants to see that happen again

I got concussion at Cadwell, IIRC the ACU insist on something like 15 days before racing again. I had to get 'assessed' by a doctor at the next round at Donington before I could race again.

In the interview he mentioned not looking at his phone, which was something I was told not to do too by the doctors for 24 hours.

Not sure if it’s the same, I imagine it is but the SACU it was age that would determine the days you had to wait before racing after getting concussion.
