Downhill World Cup, this weekend. Discovery+ and Eurosport

Post by weeksy »

I know some of you have watched the boy and thought it looked cool. Well this weekend is the first race of 2024 at Fort William.

Lots of winter rider/team changes have brought a lot of interest this season, so very much looking forward to it.

As you may expect, we're looking forward to the Juniors most, because we get to see riders the boy races week in week out. For interest he's in 2nd year of Youth now, next year he goes into Juniors (17-18 years old) and can then if all of the stars aligned potentially race a world cup event. So the lads who've just left Youth are the ones starting out in WCs now this season.
We'll be watching all of it here of course, can't wait.

If you have things like Sky Glass, Sky Q etc, then Discovery+ is free with it

Dont suppose i'll watch it, but for some reason a lot of this stuff, from amateurs to red bull types, comes up on my feeds and its pretty exciting to watch, proper heart in your mouth stuff.

S'funny, but when we kids we couldn't wait to get off of push bikes on to motorised ones. If we'd had these sort of bikes and tracks I suspect thing would have been different!

It's honestly incredible and the amera really doesn't do justice to the terrain at all, as you'd expect though, I love watching it, but that's not a shock as I live it every weekend

This pic seems to show pretty well what this weekends race will be like.

With my knees I wouldn't even want to walk down that let alone hurtle down it on 2 wheels! :D
