I’m in agreement it’s not a million quids worth but you’d be clinically dead if you don’t get a buzz off that, just sitting in it would bring big smiles.

The trouble I have with a lot of these homages is that they look a bit kit car replica shite.

Singer nail it with their 911s, this doesn't do it for me. The MAT Stratos on the other hand....

This car is beauty to the eye, an all time classic. I love it, I would love me an all glossy black one for myself.

I wanted the nine just because of the rear splitter underneath.

Mine was fitted with the Evo 9 rear bumper and diffuser. A lot of folk fit the Evo 9 front bumper too but I never bothered, I think the new owner has as I stumbled across pics of it the other month there. I wish I had kept that car.

A Lancia 037, off spring of the Stratos, father of the Delta S4, very good Group B rally car.

Have you driven a Capri, the Mk1 is better than the later cars, but I prefer the rwd Escorts and Sierras to drive, Sierra is probably the best rwd car Ford have made.

When I was at tech college my mate used to give me a lift in his Capri and I remember it felt awful, I don't recall being impressed by it, whereas my mate in his Astra inspired me to buy my GTE Astra. The GTE wasn't as quick or as sexy as my other mates RS Turbo though....and the daddy of them all was my mate with his white E30 M3, he used to have birds falling over themselves to get a date with him.

I wish I'd kept my E36 M3, we were talking about it last night, Mrs Potter loved that car as well and we both wish we'd kept it, I remember my lad was only really young and he cried when it went.

It's a shame spot lamps seem to have gone out of fashion.

I remember my mate fitting them to pretty much every car he had in the late 90s.

I don't miss those blue light up washer jets tho'.

I wonder if i can fit some to my Ovlov?

Pedestrian impalers are banned on new cars, that's why :D

That EVO37 will be under various exhibition car certifications, depending on which market it's sold in.

Mostly because old lights were shite.

There's a half hearted comeback in rural NI, but a Mk5 Golf looks a bit shite with spotlights on it.

LED lightbars have taken over up here Full width of the car and frequently roof mounted.

I had a bright yellow Mk1 GTI.
Scrapped it IIRC because I ran it dry of oil.

It'd probably be worth stupid money now even with a seized engine.

I had a Mk2 GTi 8v, it was great car back in the day but my wee Fabia would utterly destroy it. It's still around apparently!
