Dropped by the local Sport Truck store & found some floor mats for the F350. Fronts only, but allegedly molded to fit... I'll find out when they show up at the store next week.

Forcefield back protector insert for my Rukka. Should have done it years ago - I'm really impressed with how substantial it is. My separate Knox is now downgraded to use with leathers only

Eccles cakes have a life expectancy that can be measured in tenths of a second once I spot them.

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
Last year I bought one of these portable power stations:
https://eu.jackery.com/products/jackery ... er-station
It was primarily to power my telescope set up when I go off to a dark site but I've also used it to power tools when working on the boat and a couple of days ago it was powering M's internet after she had a problem with the communal electricity which affected her modem.
It's a good bit of portable power. There are others on the market but the Jackery got lots of good reviews on the astronomy forums and lo and behold, it came up at a discounted price on amazon Turkey. It'll power my telescope and Samsung tablet that I use to control things for two nights easily.

New HRM, after 6 years the old one's battery is flagging
More kitchen crap, hopefully this lasts longer than the 30 quid Asda special that crapped the bed after a month

I haven't had this in I don't know how many years (probably decades!!)!!! Pretty sure it won't taste how I remember it, but I'll make up a pack in the morning and taste test tomorrow afternoon!!
(It may not be a pleasing purchase, but for now, pre tasting, it's very pleasing )

Mine's 29 years old, I think, if that gives you any reassurance.MrLongbeard wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 8:31 pm More kitchen crap, hopefully this lasts longer than the 30 quid Asda special that crapped the bed after a month

Here's hoping it tastes good - if it does, I've probably got the ingredients to make brandy snaps

Got this yesterday. I’ve no idea what I’m doing with it but made a coffee this morning that blew my ears off.

Ooooo. That's an awesome machine (apparently!!) - some mates have a big version for their chalet. Makes awesome coffee!!
One day I'd like one like yours (the big one is way too much for someone who only drinks 2-3 cups a day!! and VERY expensive!!)
