I haven't had one in over 20 years, last time I went to Boxhill was on my YZF750, so some time between 1996 and early 2000,

That brings back memories, last time I went to Boxhill on the motorbike it was on my first gen R6, bloody hell that's years ago.

For trail riding I use viewranger app on an old androind phone with a plug in battery pack.

Create the route in google maps, use mapstogpx to create a gpx file.

https://mapstogpx.com/

Upload the gpx to viewranger.

Or just create the route in viewranger.

Yes, I'm old, first time I went there was in the 1980s on an LC, I used to go there quite a bit in the early 90s, which shows how dull East Anglia was as it's 110 miles from where I lived then, used to usually take 90 minutes each way, but I did it once in under an hour on an early GSXR750

That's okay once you get to Ashtead but down through Tooting and Colliers Wood is a bit shitty.

I miss their dog burgers. Always great for weight loss.

Another  for Viewranger. Easy to follow too.

F400 - I've got a route on Mapometer that takes you from Kingston down through the Surrey Hills, it was based on the 2012 Olympic Road race which might be of interest:

Working in Battersea today, I'm tempted to go and look at Box Hill on the way home, for anyone interested, my route from the M25 was A243, A3, then some other roads that got me to Battersea bridge, I could also go and have a look at Chelsea Bridge if I was in the mood, haven't been there on a bike since the mid 90s.

I'd swerve Box Hill and take the route through central London back to the A12.
