Re: The top 10 bikes of 2020?
There are so many really good bikes out there at the moment, but as for truly stand-out, yeah, I sort of think sometimes they are tossing a coin for 7 or 8 of the top ten .
For me in the last year, there were only two bikes that got me really thinking oooooh I want one of those , and if I'm honest, although they'll both undoubtedly be fun to ride, my want came purely from how they look
and
P.S,
I still do want both and haven't ruled a purchase of either out...

The Italjet is cool, pity it's not got the old 180 two stroke engine

IYep, they are a fun little bike, I've got one , still has less than 1500 miles on it from new, unrestored and 100% original, even down to the tyres it came with , is a keeper, that one.!Julian_Boolean wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 10:36 am The Italjet is cool, pity it's not got the old 180 two stroke engine

The only one i am probably really interested in is the new V4 Multistrada.
I wont be rushing out to buy one but i might get one in a few years when the prices on secondhand ones becomes realistic for me

I very much like the Italjet Dragster for its radical styling but I'm hoping Honda will bring the new CB350 (H'Ness) from India to Europe but am not confident given Euro 5 regulations. It is a beautiful looking machine. Failing that maybe Royal Enfield will bring over the new Meteor with which the Homda is competing.
We need some single pot thumpers.

I remember being attracted to the Italjet Dragster when I was looking for my first scoot back in '99. Not sure what stopped me. Possibly boring practical stuff like reliability. Or maybe even at 41 I felt too old for it :|

Quite keen on having a go on the Aprilia RS660 when it eventually appears. Not quite sure how acid gold will look in the flesh.
I don't ride sports bikes now but I have fond, rose-tinted memories of the RS250. I hope Aprilia are better at supporting their dealers, I could source OEM parts quicker than my local dealer and he ditched the franchise (his sales were good but he was embarrassed by the wait to get service and warranty stuff sorted.

Re: The top 10 bikes of 2020?
There are limited pics of the new V4's so stuck with what Ducati let out ...... My own one has the additional fog spots as standard which i very rarely have on unlike some riders with blackpool illuminations across their bikes but they are superb for filtering in heavy traffic as they are spot on at wing mirror height for most cars and you can see the seas parting well ahead
