The yellow plates denote a 500cc bike from many years ago.

I really liked my Z750, was a great road bike. Weak points were suspension and brakes which have pretty much been sorted here. Mine was killed prematurely by a Vauxhall Vectra when it was only just over a year old in 2007. It's what drew me to the GSXS 750 which was just a more modern version, although ended up with the 1000

I'm trying to remember what colour plates 750s had, white I think, but the endurance bikes this one is trying to mimic were 1000s, I think they had black plates with white numbers.

It's a nice idea and okay looking, but it could be really good looking with nicer shaped bodywork.

750 white plates.1300 had red plates and/

MCUI lumped the very few 500s in the 750s and used yellow plates for SS600. I think only Eddie Laycock had a 500 after 1990 and someone brought one of the 500 Vtwin Honda things to the NW200 one year.
