If it was a bank holiday, I'm sure we'd see more celebrations.

Re: Happy St George’s Day!
Bring back St Edmund as patron saint, he's the kind of deluded fuck wit that modern England could identify with.

It would be a bit much, to insist that the Patron Saint has to be a local!Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 12:50 pm Yep, happy random Tunisian/ Armenian or whatever day that a French man decided to make England's patron saint.

St Giles would make a better patron saint the way things are at the moment.

Re: Happy St George’s Day!
I was curious about that... It's not like when they right about Elton John they say "Elton John, previously known ...."
Why do they do it about that fella ?

He even added the Lennon bit, his father was just Yaxley.
He's also been known as
Andrew McMaster
Paul Harris
Wayne King
Elton John's a stage name, I suppose people point out that 'Tommy Robinson' is an assumed persona too. Still, better than being called 'formerly known as Twitter'.

I think the BBC are signalling that they don’t like him.
That ain’t their job.

Re: Happy St George’s Day!
Far left Vs Far right I suppose. I was brought up to listen to both sides of the story, so have listened to Robinson a few times. He can make some very good points and rightly complains about the double standards levelled at him which in fairness he is right to do so as it is pretty unbelievable, but none of the MSM will ever grant him an audience to air his accusations, points and views.

Maybe because that is the name under which he has been convicted of multiple crimes including fraud, entering the US under a false passport and stalking?JackyJoll wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 9:27 amYorick wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 11:33 pm These scumbags have made a mockery of the flag
