WSBK Netherlands (Assen TT)
Life in the old dog yet.
After a miserable start to the season Rea stuck the R1 on pole!
It was very wet, with a dry line starting to form at the end of the session.

If the conditions dry I’d expect him to fall back but you never know, I just think the conditions suited him very well unless he’s found something and will start to compete at the sharp end again.

No spoilers for the first race, but if I gave you 10 guesses, you'd never get the winner!

Race 2…….Wow!
I wonder what all the muppets that questioned Toprak going to BMW are saying now? “Must be for the money because he ain’t going to win” absolute fucktards.
3 wins from 9 races and 2nd in the championship. Not bad with a DNF due to a mechanical and going backwards in Race 1 with a tyre that gave up the ghost. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up winning the championship.

The 300's were pretty exciting too, I now want a Kove, but I can only find UK dealers for the Dakar ADV bike, not the road bikes (they make a 450cc IL4 too).

I have to be honest,as I thought Toprak would be nowhere on the beemer. Happy to be proven wrong, though. The boy is special.wull wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 2:39 pm Race 2…….Wow!

Yeah, I was sceptical as well. Happy to be proved wrong and that the rider can really make the difference. I think the thing with the Beemer is that it's nearly as fast as the Ducatis, so he's not getting blown away on the straights.Skub wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 1:32 pmI have to be honest,as I thought Toprak would be nowhere on the beemer. Made me laugh when the Eurosport team said it wasn't the start to the season Bautista would have wanted.
They seem to have overlooked he is leading the championship, i can only see him getting stronger as well.
