Yup. Like with roads.

Rather more roads than canals. Try going to Cornwall by canal, from anywhere.

I don't fancy the journey to Cornwall by road much either! Probably best by sea - if they've stop swinging lanterns on the shore at night.

I wonder why they didn't cut many canals on the long, thin peninsular.

Ocean going voyages somewhat more fraught than a 4mph bimble to the pub though. :D

They banned swinging of lanterns years ago, we tie the lantern to the tail of a donkey and let it wander about the cliffs. :D

Got the GS mot'd today. Been thinking of selling this, but when I ride it, I'm glad I didn't, such a comfortable, versatile bike, so it's staying. Few months back was thinking of selling the MT, but again, once I ride it I'm glad it didn't sell.

So the GS, MT and the mighty Enfield are staying as part of the family, for ever. 😉👍

Well? Did you go for a cup of tea or coffee? ;)
Coffee. Pretty much always coffee now - they can't make decent tea here :( And I've got so used to coffee that I rarely drink tea at home

Ripped up some sticky backed floor tiles... that were stuck on top of some stick back floor tiles. The bottom layer have been down since 2001 when the house was built.

I'm fucked, utterly, totally fucked.

Just my luck I'll win the jackpot on the euros tonight making todays hardwork pointless.

Went to a cruise-in last night at a local restaurant, didn't have the fastest or best looking vehicle there, but I sure had the biggest :)

Rented a van and emptied out our lockup we’ve had for 21 years ….
Found the progressive springs for my old Bros 650 - god knows why I’ve kept them .
Went to the tip ….saw loads of scooters in Limehouse with cameras on for the marathon tomorrow.
May go to the boozer tonight

We set off for our usual Saturday enduro ride, but some bugger decided it would be a good idea to have a car rally 😉
Split the island in half, north and sarf.
We managed to get around it going north, but kept getting trapped going sarf.
We never use tarmac, but we do need to cross roads sometimes. But today we daren't chance crossing a live race track.
So had to watch the lunatics. Not a bad way to spend a sunny day. Still got a few hours riding in. 😉

I fitted an Evotec tail tidy with no drama. On slight "humph" but that's it - I'm practically a pro mechanic now.

Took a 2012 Land Rover 90 Defender for a test drive. Dear lord, the non-existent brakes 😬

Took my bike for a spin, then dropped it off for it's first service (which it's having tomorrow, but it's forecast to piss it down all day 😶, unlike today).
