Friday thread. Middle of April, spring is upon us

Post by weeksy »

Well, in certain parts of the country... Where i am today is spring.... where i am all weekend it's not :D

Fri. Driving to Resolven/Rheola with the lad after packing 30000 things into the van. Track walk for him and the coach, then out for Indian :)
Sat. early doors then off for race practice with all the Superstars in National DH series. Then either Chinese or Pizza
Sun. race day, early start and a couple of practice runs, then big boy race for the lad.. Home sometime after 6.

Thinking about getting the two wheeled stallion out for a ride up to devils bridge for a sarnie. Then onto hawes, aysgarth, kettlewell . Stop off at Linton to feed the ducks. Then skipton for a look around then home to bronteland.

Saturday. I’ll just fly by my seat of my pants
Sunday. Pretty much the same as Saturday

And that’s all I want to say about that right now

Have a good weekend all. I’ll post a few pics if I think on.

Live long and prosper 🖖

I'm being forced to go see Pink tonight.

Not the real Pink, a pretend Pink.

At the Bridewell Venue. Last time I was there it was for Terrorvision. Bit of a difference.

I'm in the vortex of a spring cleaning/decorating hurricane. My life is currently devoted to moving furniture, decanting paint, measuring window recesses, nodding sagely at fabric choices, scheduling charity shop and recycling centre trips and dodging the valkyrie wielding a paint brush. :(

HELP!!!!

On the ferry to G.C. most of today.

Trackday at Maspalomas tmrw.
Because there's only 1 quick ferry a day, I have to stay another night. So will be in the hotel pool, then bar.

Sunday meander home and see the missus for first time in 3 weeks.
Then catch up on MotoGP

The wife and I have spent the last hour debating whether to load the camper up and go away for the weekend, but decided to stay put and invite the old folk over tomorrow afternoon for food and drinks in the sunshine. So I've now been detailed with lawn care.

I've got a pizza oven insert for the Weber BBQ arriving today, so we may try and spin up some pizzas and garlic bread tonight.

Sunday find out when I get the keys to my new Villa in La Zenia! Not sure of the full details but I guess McKinney competitions will tell me that when i get the winners call after the draw! 8-)

Does say tribute have a good pun name though?

This weekend I'm supposed to be travelling to the northern wastes to see an art exhibition which includes some of Mrs. D's photos. However Baby D is currently having problems with takin' a shit, so Mrs. D might have to go by herself :(

Lates today and Saturday, then 3 off.
Sunday off to the F’s, youngest son is visiting to borrow my carpet cleaner after his cat became very poorly, resulting in no more cat but lots of stains!
Monday, garden stuff and testing my pizza oven wot I have bought, could be interesting😂
Tuesday, highly qualified man is attending to look into fitting Air Source Heating. Octopus are doing some great deals so my landlord has decided to reduce my heating bills massively!
Hopefully all travel will be on the bike but let’s see if the rain gods are having a weekend break somewhere nice.
Have fun all, weekend is soon gone!

Leeds.

I've convinced Baby Dazzle it's where dog leads were invented and that's why they're called that.

You do know the neutral switch is a common issue ?

Yup you mentioned on my Ugly Triumph thread some time ago I think

It's been low on the agenda compared to getting the thing bouncing and stopping properly :obscene-drinkingcheers:

Friday, 12hours at work, phoned vet this morning to book old dog in for his last trip to vets☹️.

Saturday, take old dog for last trip to vets, bring him home to show the others and then take him to Pet Crematorium.

Drink

Sunday, persuade Mrs M into going MTBing with her mates whilst I walk the remaining dogs.

"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Sorry to hear that :(

We brought our old cat and dog (Homer) with us from UK in little boxes.
And we've just paid extra to have our recently deceased cat returned to us.

Commiserations MtM, it's one of the most :( things to do so that drink is in order.

Having to work another Saturday due to all the Rain. Sunday will probably be spent painting the walls and ceiling in my camperbus loo. Few other small areas to gloss or varnish also.
