No, not bothered unless anyone complainsCount Steer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 2:40 pmWould you like it moved? It's still 95% bike related and not causing any headaches.

The only thing I'd say is that if you don't have an airbrush and compressor I'd think about getting one. I was very very disappointed with the finish I got on my first kit with a brush. I've just built up to using paint and a gloss clear coat to a point where I'm sort of happy with the results...

I only started building kits again during lockdown and have done 4 so far. Used to build loads as a kid.
Sadly I gave away my airbrush, paints and compressor when we moved. Damon and blast!!

Ah. I think I paid about 150 each for my airbrush and compressor. As was always the case… the kits are the cheap bit, the paints and tooling not so much.Buckaroo wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 10:51 pmThanksdern wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 2:30 pm Tamiya. Their kits are really good quality.

This is in the loft (win - even TP doesn't have one, I'm sure).Count Steer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 6:54 amShould do a 'build' thread.
(I watch this sort of thing on IG, some of the kits are in detail/complexity).
BiL built it, and made the display case its in. Then brought it back from the USA!
Belongs to wayward nephew. But might eventually find its way to a local auction house that specialises in models ...

Yes, definitely. There are some graphics to apply and then a gloss layer will be applied over it all.
