It's a Government test to ensure control when they announce the end of hard cash and we are going to be a digital society only after the next general election

After my glorious revolution, making scrambled eggs in a solid block like that will earn you 5 years hard labour.

Re: Show us your breakfast
Didnt see how you did them? I normally go for fried eggs (runny) but my wife made some which she broke up with a fork before serving, but I liked the cake style approach. First time i've made scrambled eggs in a microwave and i was quite impressed!Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 10:40 am After my glorious revolution, making scrambled eggs in a solid block like that will earn you 5 years hard labour.

Re: Show us your breakfast
Scrambled eggs in the microwave came out like insulation granules when I made them when we got our first microwave. (Zap, stir, zap). Never tried since...and never will.

Bircher muesli. I make my own, sufficient for two or three mornings. The Gremlinette say it looks like somebody has vomited into a bowl after eating too much porridge.

Re: Show us your breakfast
When I'm feeling fancy I make 'em in a double boiler, but even I don't do that every time 'cause it takes ages. Bare minimum is a saucepan, they should be only very slightly firmer than runny though. No denying it takes a while longer.Taipan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 10:47 amDidnt see how you did them? I have to quote the great Albert Roux here. "If the viewer does not have time to make a proper scrambled egg, they should have a boiled one"

Re: Show us your breakfast
I had scrambled eggs for lunch. Piss easy in the ding-ding. Low power, stir frequently, remove from microwave before they're as you like them and transfer to a cold dish, to stop the cooking process.
Serve with smoked salmon and a toasted bagel. Oy-veh!
I'm not sure what Tiepin was eating. Some sort of calcified mini frittata.

Just for good order, exactly how many fry-ups are you consuming a week?Taipan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 10:28 am Air fried meat and microwaved beans and scrambled eggs!

Re: Show us your breakfast
I'm on annual leave so have the occasional one, but I dont normally even have breakfast. The one last week was bought as a one off really and this one was because we took food away with us but never bothered with breakfast there, so we're using it up.gremlin wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 1:13 pmJust for good order, exactly how many fry-ups are you consuming a week?Taipan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 10:28 am Air fried meat and microwaved beans and scrambled eggs!

Re: Show us your breakfast
T'was 2 XL eggs, lightly whisked with grated parmesan and microwaved in a plastic pot. They were actually perfectly cooked as slightly loose on the inside.

Sounds like good description of my bowels after consuming such.

Re: Show us your breakfast
Surely it's faster to scramble eggs than boil them - it only takes a minute or two to scramble?Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 11:15 am I have to quote the great Albert Roux here. "If the viewer does not have time to make a proper scrambled egg, they should have a boiled one"
