Happy Easter!
Happy and glorious Easter morning.
May Christ the Son of Righteousness grant you joyful days of peace and happiness, strength and compassion, hope and caring, may your presence be a joy to others and a blessing to those in need. Peace and grace to you all.

Proverbs 17:9
One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.

Re: Happy Easter!
Happy Easter everyone!
I've spread the joy today. I saw a "beauty egg" on daytime TV which is a plastic egg full of expensive make up, so I got the wife one and she is over the moon with it. Shame i'm not buying bikes anymore as i'd have got away with anything today!

The Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy both visited chez Dazzle last night. I wonder if they met.

After days of painting and laying flooring in the Gremlinette's bedroom, she asked if we could do an Easter egg hunt....
I won't repeat my reply on this very holy of holy days.

There are two sat on the breakfast bar, in various stages of consumption. They've been there since Friday. Along with untold other detritus that a teenage girl dumps around the house, such as shoes, dirty clothing, cups, make up, etc....
I'm not a household obsessive, but me and Mrs G. are really pulling our hair out and trying to get her to be a bit more responsible in terms of, how can I put it...? Not being a fucking slob.

I feel for you. The good news is by the time she is 35 she will probably be a pleasant tidy adult.gremlin wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2024 6:28 pm There are two sat on the breakfast bar, in various stages of consumption. Now, I'm a fucking amazing daughter. And I am genuinely glad that the parentals have lasted long enough for me to be of use to them. They still take the piss out of my younger twatishness. (They don't swear, so that's not how they'd put it, but still...)
