Only after the southern side of the city. Northern side of Forth is Stirling, the southern side is Sterling which is where the name of the currency comes from.

I think Stirling has been accessible by road bridge for quite a long time.

I guess them big container ships take some stopping/turning if you get it wrong?

Tho' i'd expect that they'd be using a local pilot to navigate the river?

One way is to use the stated lat/long of a buoy as a waypoint on your plotter. The maintenance boats do try to drop them right on the spot.

The more usual method is just being pissed or absent from the bridge.

Bridge had working lights on it (you can see it in the video). It’s like it was aimed at the pier/column! You can also see some maintenance vehicles parked on the bridge .

The columns are supposed to be able to take the impact of a ship anyway...for now very obvious reasons.
