I damn near filled my drawers a moment ago. Weather has been iffy all day, it rained a bit earlier & it's been alternating between T shirt weather & freezing my ass off.
Heard a strange noise & looked out the blinds the very moment lightning hit across the road at the college in the middle of the fairly impressive hailstorm (1/4in or so hailstones) so managed to get blinded, deafened & confused in the same nano-second.

Did transfers to and from GVA this morning. On my lunch break I've booked the bus to Heathrow after my short visit to the UK and the train from Lyon most of the way home! Luckily a colleague is coming to get me as that means I'll get back home before the train would actually leave Montmélian!!

In 40 mins I head off back to GVA!! Looking like I might have to miss physio which is a bit of a sod :(

The difference? - easy. You’ve turned a bollox into a larrups*. Or maybe the other way round - not sure which came first. Either way, I hope it doesn’t leak, much.

* Cornish word. In this case it means an unsuccessful attempt to improve on a bollox.

Dry and sunny today,so I got a couple of loads of washing hung out like the bitch I am.

I also had a couple of hours on the triple to gas the cyclists. 8-)

I managed my first outdoor laundry today too

Also went to the garden centre with Baby D to try and get stuff to replace all my eaten box hedge. Basically scatter gunned it, bought 20 or so little plants from the 'UK outdoor perennial hedge' section. Figured they've been living outside at the garden centre...they'll probably survive in my front garden.

Also bought a load of annual wildflower seeds. Every year I strim the lawn into oblivion around about this time of year and sow loads of flowers. By summer i have a proper butterfly habitat going...beats mowing every week :D

First cut of the year,
Today's sunny but chilly & it's forecast showers or rain all week so I decided to see if the lawn mower would fire up,to my surprise a couple of sniffs of carb cleaner & it fired up so the lawn got mowed.

Looks like I'll be finishing off the bathroom refurb the rest of the week, get that out of the way leaving lots of time for motorcycles  ,

Went for a swim in the sea near Mallaig. Lovely clear bracing water.

Bled the brakes on my friends 990 adventure - finished sorting the decking ( rotting slowly but a coat of decking paint covers a multitude of sins) realised I should have taken up the offer of the loan of some loppers but there’s always next weekend
Short week this week and not working Saturday.

Put up a picture, finished wiring my bike cameras and TomTom to the KTM, took the brake guard back off as it was fouling the throttle :angry-cussingblack: , and went out for a spin :) :) :)

Used my new garden mulcher, it's brilliant!
We have a big garden with lots of trees and bushes, disposal of the bits is a nightmare. Woth my new toy I can mulch a decent sized tree in to a wheelie bin !

Puppy-proofing the back garden, blocking small gaps under fencing, the side gate, and obstructing access under and behind one of the decks.

All being well, photos in the 'show us your pets' thread in two weeks ...

Been out to play on the bike. Very circuitous route up to Bideford, and an equally convoluted but different route back. Some cracking roads, but humungous potholes too. Devon's roads are worse than Cornwall's, if that is possible.

I know you're all chomping at the bit for another update on the world's longest ever kitchen fitting... and to tell me I'm doing it all wrong :)

Today was washer, under sink cabinet, work tops and hob and sink.

Fuck all that chippy with a special jig bollocks, they look fine just butted up to each other with a bit of clear silicone.

We went to the last night of an international guitar festival in a village up in the hills.

What a load of shite. 2 hours of self indulgent twaddle.
If I'd been by myself I'd have walked out after half hour.
But didn't want to piss off the missus and it was bloody cold outside ;)

Imagine being at a kiddy's disco where you hate every second. That was me.

On the way home our lass said that some of it was challenging and she usually defends everyone.

I'd genuinely turn down £100 to go see them again.

Now a nice beer and telly. :)

I fitted some of that one way mirror window film today. Thank God I've never been tempted to try it on a car as it looks rubbish, it's on my shed so looks aren't all important.

It had to clear a capped off gas pipe too.

It's a drawer unit, you'll never see it.
