Quick PSA…

If anyone is in the market for an immaculate low mileage (I haven’t been able to ride it for 18 months of the 2yrs I’ve owned it due to Bowel Cancer and various complications) Orbea Rise M10 with a customised spec, then get in touch. It will be a great price…

Just done a deal on a new Orbea Wild, giving full fat a ago again and the deal was too good to say no.

Went out for a lunch ride with Big Dan, another parent of my lads mate. Big Dan is also FAST Dan, both up and nowdays down as well.

It was remarkable just how easy it was riding with him and how the Ebike really flies even when at 17-20mph trails, because you have a little bit more in your legs and HR available from the climb, on the pedally fast sections you're not already in the red. So you can hold the power easier.

It's still kinda cheating, still kinda wrong, but a sunny day, some fun trails, getting drier conditions, i'm not going to argue :)

I bought 2 of these. Great little bikes. Removable battery, folds in half and fits in the car. Ours now have throttle only mode when required. 🤫

Installed the new Rise linkage today, all parts are completely different, the yoke is swapped and mounts totally differently to the previous one, the tensioner is different and even the bolts to the chainstay are different. The 2 top chainstay bolts are again fiddly little sods, the drive side one is particularly fiddly to align. But once you follow the process, it's not exactly a tough job.
