Mad props for being able to stop and take a photo after already eating half of it, or is that off the kid's menu?

I just had some pizza as it was about to go off. Not my usual breakfast but it was in fact very nice. And coffee, lots of coffee.

I used to love a good breakfast, but these days I don't break my fast until around 1pm. A cuppa tea does me.

I'm not expecting much in the way of jealousy here, and I agree it's not the prettiest meal, but mine has evolved over a few months into something I've become a little bit addicted to.

It's a single Weetabix Protein, a handful of Morrison's own-brand granola with chocolate bits, and a full glass of milk with vanilla-flavoured protein powder.

I don't really know why, but I crave it every day. It's not really even particularly healthy on many levels, but it's wet and sloppy, subtly sweet yet milky, and with some nice crunch to it. Plus the occasional little surprise nugget of chocolate.

A 2022 Shiraz. Very good it was too, way better than my usual 'buy cheap you're never disappointed'

Technically it was second breakfast as I'd already eaten on the sleeper train. If I want quantity then nothing beats the Calmac ferry just before they switch menus, they either bin it or give it to the customers.

No pix but same as 5 other days each week. A bowl of Dorset Cereals 'Simply Delicious' muesli with a scoop of milled flax seed (with vit D, biocultures etc), 10 blueberries + 'forest fruits' and prunes with full cream milk. A cuppa and some orange juice.

Saturdays is porage made with organic jumbo rolled oats and full cream milk + blueberries and honey.

My body is a temple and I can crap like a Masai.

I don't want to think about what you paid for that, but just one sausage, a scabby bit of streaky bacon . . . ? :o

You'd have been better off at a lay-by greasy spoon.

There's more to it than food. If I'd wanted cheap I'd have gone to a cheap hotel for the all you can eat breakfast.

Part of the reason for going there was to be driven down the only two way road in the UK where you drive on the right.
