Chin up. You'll be in good hands and better to get it sorted.

Hope all goes well tomorrow. It'll all be good.

Better out than in, as they say. Both contents and 'item'.

Best wishes

I remember they did a biopsy when they first discovered it end of last year, and not a problem at the moment.

Listen. The bum hole is bigger than the Jap eye, so if a soft, shandy-drinking southerner like me can grit his teeth and have a camera shoved up an intimate hole, then a burly Yorkshireman should have no issues.

Mind you, many have commented about how tight-arsed you are, so I'll reserve judgement. ;)

Do you get to watch the screen or are they going to zonk you? It's a bit like controlling those grab-a-prize things at the seaside. Left a bit, right a bit, left a tad....got the blighter! :D

Good luck with it. As said, better out than in.

Was that to do with the operation or was you just getting on their nerves?

That stuff you drink is better than any colonic irrigation!! Take a book, magazine or an iPad to the loo, you’ll need it.
They knocked me out for my first one, but the second one I only had gas and air. Couldn’t understand the 42” tv either side of the operating table, then realised what I was watching. Not much of a storyline but I got the full discussion between the docs, which was very surreal!! Interesting thing, the human body. Actually got quite into watching, weirdly.

Good luck, hope it all goes ok, keep us posted.

My mum used to take that every morning, but she was dying from bowel cancer. Good luck.

Been there, in the UK its called Picolax. Horribly potent stuff, by the end I think my insides were polished and I was expelling water cleaner than when it went in (IBS investigations for me)

Qapla for tomorrow.

I got the Movi Prep also and got to watch the big screen what was quite fascinating. That lass at the top end with the gas n air was quite a looking and as we were chatting i discovered she was not to far from me and she rode a Bandit. Married though :(

When i went for the top down i was looking forward to that less but i got a different approach. Camera over the nose what was not to bad so quite relaxed enough to watch that also.

Brown end was to try and work out how i was needing the loo 20 times a day. Nothing found so went for the top down approach. They discovered almost instantly that i was Coeliac what explained the brown end issue. Once i got a diet in order i was good as new again.

I guess it pretty much wipes out the good ol' gut bacteria too so lots of natural yogurt/probiotic stuff after is probably  Did they make any suggestions for after?

Back home after the op.

When I came round I felt like I'd been kicked in the guts for hours.
Doc said it was just trapped wind.
Had loads of ops but this was worst recovery.

Wifey made me some scrambled egg with cheese as can only eat soft food. That improved things.

Doc says he got 99% of the polyps but part of one was flat so he'd have had to dig into the colon wall.
He's gonna have another look in November.

But 100% good news.

At Rosslare harbour waiting to board the ferry to Bilbao. It's pissing down, very windy and Storm Kathleen is approaching. ☹️
