Watched it live but only just woken up! Only joking but it was a little dull. The odd flash of something interesting but suspect the tyres aren't helping. Acosta's drive was pretty much instantly punished by a knackered tyre, something which is really annoying since the switch back to Michelin as often you get a spurt, then everyone holding station till 4 laps from the end.

Marc seemed to be riding within himself which is odd, but probably a wise move. He's mentioned that he is still adapting to the new bike, but a 5th and 4th aren't a bad start at all. Lets hope he can continue to improve. Jorge proved yet again he's a Saturday man which considering the points difference is something he needs to work on. Pecco was his usual Sunday self, great ride. Both can be inconsistent though with Pecco occasionally well off the pace and Jorge a bit win or bin. I wonder if that's part of Marc toning it down. Acosta showed he's got the talent, but gonna have to ride within the tyres (dull).

Very interesting article on Crash.Net about how Bagnaia changed strategy between Sprint and Grand Prix races and only had 10 minutes in warm up to get used to a different way of riding the bike. It was all in the maths, apparently.

Bagnaia is very much the thinking rider it would seem. The Alain Prost to Jorge Martin's Senna.

The switch from Dunlop to Pirelli tyres seems to have unsettled a few Moto2 riders. Expected front runners such as Aldeguer and Arbolino were nowhere and the likes of Barry Baltus up fighting for the win. Canet also looked to be caught out with no grip in the closing stages after coming through the field.

The feed I was listening to reckoned that the runners on the Medium Pirellis were going backwards after not many laps while the runners on the Softs were OK. Not exactly what you'd expect...
