How about the Indian Sikhs, Hindus and Buddhists?
There is a Sikh Troops War Memorial, put up in 2022 in Leicester. The India Gate memorial in Delhi was built by the Brits for all the 74,000 Indian troops that died in WW1.
There ins Hindu Memorial here in Brighton

They have been extremely slow on the uptake of most evidence over the last few years. I think they can no longer separate lies from their truth

Seperate lies from"their truth" ??

"Their truth", for virtually all politicians, is a lie. The best you can hope for from politicians is small lies.

If they're speaking, they're almost certainly lying!

Read Florence Nightingale's works. Clean and wash things, don't have dust traps, and children are grubby little blighters.

The slimy money grubbing self serving twat bastard.
It's been on the cards since more people started vaping and fewer continued smoking. Man's got bills to pay.
I know, it was a contributory factor to including vaping in the tobacco products directive way back in 2014, still doesn't make it right.
If he needs to raise money double the VED on leisure vehicles.
Vapes are hard to tax, I saw they are targetting nicotine which is about the only thing that isn't commonly available elsewhere. I'm looking forward to caffeine based vape liquid.

I know, s'why I'm only slightly miffed rather than royally pissed off.
I get my super strength nicotine from a company not affiliated with the vape industry, so it should slide under the radar, however if they go at it as the TPD does then anything and everything will have a tax attached, flavours, base liquids, atties, mods and even batteries.

I imagine doubling the VED on leisure vehicles, even if you could robustly define them, would be a drop in the ocean compared to taxing all the filthy ex-smokers
