The lawyer for the employee banging Fani Willis is on the stand today testifying that he can't recall ANY of the statements he made under oath about 2 weeks ago.

It got better. He was asked if he had ever lied to people involved in the case, yes or no answer required. He couldn't answer for about 30 seconds, then gave evasive answers before saying no... then he was later asked the same question & answered yes.
He was also asked why he couldn't look anyone in the eye, said he was looking at them on the monitor in front of him.

Law schools all over the US are going to use video of his testimony to teach a class on "How to tell a motherfucker is lying" for decades to come. I assume the school HE attended is at this very moment issuing a check to refund his tuition...

According to Biden a few days ago, the USAF is conducting food drops in Ukraine to aid the people of Gaza... & he said it twice.

What does "without a misdirect" mean? :?:

The fact that he doesn't know the difference between Ukraine & Gaza will probably lead to the senile fuckwit nuking Russia if Hamas sends rockets in Israel..

Trump often speaks without a prompter. Biden uses one, or has notes in his hand to read & still talks utter nonsense. He was reading from notes in his hand when he confused Gaza & Ukraine.

It can't be too much to ask for there to be a basic minimum requirement -
- can read from a teleprompter unaided
- can waffle without talking bollocks

I've set the bar really low but ffs it should be higher than that.

If that means there has to be a maximum age bar, to mirror the lower age bar mentioned earlier, then yeah fair enough.

 this is what makes me laugh. Some people want it both ways. Biden has dementia because he can't string a sentence together, but when Trump does it, then it's the lack of teleprompter?? FFS, this is someone who is applying for arguably the most powerful job in the world, if he can't talk sense then he shouldn't be there, simple. Or just use notes and a teleprompter? Not rocket science.

Like his politics or not, Obama was one of the best Presidential speakers ever, in a different galaxy from these two buffoons.

I haven't got a link, but you should watch the Kimmel segment when they ask Trump supporters about quotes of Bidens, they slag off Biden, then the reporters states they got it wrong and it was actually a Trump quote. Suddenly the same quote was acceptable and they then tried to justify it. A very 'challenged' bunch indeed.

If he talks shit, and he regularly does, at least as much as Biden. Say he talks shit. Absolute joke of a US politics system and candidates. The state that the USA is going to be in after the next four years is going to be an interesting watch for sure.

These are the TWO people who are( as far as we know) going to be applying for "the most powerful job in the world". The American people's unenviable task will be to choose the least worst. Like the last time and the time before that. It's not going to be the best person in America who gets the job. That's not how it works.

Bernie Sanders was on C4 news the other week. He seemed alert, intelligent, pragmatic and well-informed.

No wonder he'll never become POTUS in this day and age.

Interesting article here in the Gruaniad about why people vote for peeps like Trump and indeed the source of some problems in politics today.

Couldn't have worded it better. The 'American Dream' is based on wealth alone. No other values, as far as I can tell. Social responsibility doesn't seem to get a look in.
