You've got £40K
Just a little game.
You have up to £40k, but you've got to spend at least £25k.
You have to buy (or commission) a single bike and you can't just sell it to get the cash back.
What you having?
Maybe a Panigale V4R or a Triumph 1200 Scrambler sent to Roland Sands with a £20k budget?
But not a Paton, but what about a Vincent?

Maybe one of these, but this one doesn't look in great condition...

Re: You've got £40K
There's very little that I want at that altitude. Farting around on ebay, sorted by highest price, I thought I'd go for a Streetfighter or Multistrada V4 of some sort, but no. I'll have this, thanks.

Re: You've got £40K
Pfft...40k ain't enough. Some already builds the exact bike I'd build for myself, were I ever to have the budget and inclination.
Sadly Arc Vectors cost 90k
So I'm going for that 31k Tesi 3D Tricky posted in t'other thread.

Yeah I'll keep the 40k as an extra budget to swap the motor for one our 300bhp ones Should get a weight saving too.

Re: You've got £40K
Another contender - but £30 grand and they couldn't even be arsed focusing every shot?

Re: You've got £40K
There is absolutely nothing new I desire, regardless of money. The way I'm currently thinking,I'll never buy another new bike.
For me it would be a Rickman CR900 and the rest on another triple.

Re: You've got £40K
Here we go 234.....
I'm not sure you could actually build one for £40K, given what the original was rumoured to have cost to build.
And I don't think building one of these would cost £25K

Re: You've got £40K
I'd try and talk Shucy into either selling me his heavily modified Bimota DB2, or making me a replica. £40k well spent...

Re: You've got £40K
An Exile Cycles trike kit would run around $40k, so if you'll sub me the shipping and customs charges I'd be down for a bit of spanner work.

Otherwise I'd take cash down to BSA head office and ask to buy their prototype scrambler;

Re: You've got £40K
With the £25k bottom limit, I honestly couldn't find a bike I'd want in the garage

Re: You've got £40K
What in gods name would I do with that. It'd be a £40k ornament.
Do t get me wrong, I think it's bloody fantastic, but can't see a world where it'd ever move

Re: You've got £40K
It's an imaginary £40k.
You HAVE to spend it on a bike. Even if you don't ride it... however I reckon you'd do a track day on it at least once, just to say you have.
