Columbo
The six Million Dollar Man
The original Captain Scarlet
Knight Rider
Original Frasier

Forgot how cheesy Knight Rider was but it’s still amusing.

Masters of the Air just started on Apple TV.

It's the spiritual successor to Band of Brothers/Pacific but set around the US B-17 bomber division in based in the UK.

Seems quite good so far but still can't resist that Spielberg/Hanks quirk of having the English be twats.

What Did Jack Do? on Netflix.

17 minutes (I managed four minutes before turning off) of David Lynch being self-indulgent in black and white with an amateurish special effect monkey.

Does there cone a point when you are considered famous and quirky enough to be given carte blanche to produce nonsense?

What? The latest one, set in Oirland? I enjoyed it (and the first one). :D

(You'll be delighted to know there'll be a 3rd, set in Amsterdam  ).

My wife's mates said this was really good, so we stuck with it. I made a half hour in and then bailed. My wife's mates say we should have stuck with it. Anyone else seen this? I found it really hard work. Should i have stuck with it?

Watched the first part of Dune on Netflix.

S'alright, but God it's a bit pretentious and has delusions of being a great and seminal event, rather than just a sci-fi yarn.

Plus, given the volume of background noise, the central characters kept talking in inaudible whispers. I think I missed most of Rebecca Ferguson's lines.

It's alright, but the last quarter feels like it lasts for three hours.

Has John Byrne's Tutti Frutti been mentioned? A search didn't find it.

Last night we watched first episode of Sneaky Pete. Quite good first impression, but wonder if 4 series might be too much.
Seems ideal for just a 4 parter.

We'll see.

Challenger: Final Flight, on Netflix. A pretty good introduction to Engineers v Politics.

The Bob Marley story- One Love

As a big Bob fan, and knowing a bit about his life, I was looking forward to this, but it was a disappointment- I didn't find the way Bob's character was portrayed convincing or engaging, and overall it was a bit of a B or C movie and a lot duller than it could/should have been, sort of like it had been severely sanitised/dumbed down- the saving grace was the tunes, but TBH there wasn't as much of that in it as I would have expected either....
We saw it in the local (ish) Everyman so there are a lot worse ways to spend an evening, but the film itself gets a maximum 5/10 from me

Also in a Space Shuttle theme, on BBC IPlayer, Columbia, the shuttle that fell to Earth. Very good but I did get a bit angry in places at the arrogance and complacency of NASA management , like the lessons of Challenger had been forgotten (depressingly it reminds me of where I work).

I'll have to watch that. I watched the Netflix Challenger doc this week. Amazing that they made the decision to fly knowing what they did!! Sad that the mistakes repeated themselves with Columbia.

Just watched The Commitments. Can't quite believe it's taken this long to get round to watching it!
