Google the effects of fruit sugar and acid on teeth :)
No harm in being informed.
Even bland can be a type of character

If you *need* to detox, it means your kidneys have stopped working & you should head to the hospital immediately.

Mrs S L: Are those birds fighting?
Me: Not exactly.
Mrs S L: What?
Me: One's male, the other's female. What do you think they're doing? :D
Mrs S L:  :D

Well its day 4 of juice 'detox'.
I've lost 3kg and most importantly, swmbo is moaning like f@ck about how tired she feels and how hungry she is!
Not feeling the benefit yet obviously :D :1  :obscene-drinkingcheers:

This morning she left me gobsmacked.

She's an amazing singer and I always go watch her when she's gigging. Very proud.

She also loves seeing my ride on track and comes pillion with me sometimes.
Loves the acceleration and maxed out to 180 twice.
She loves the bends, but always wary of cars pulling out.

This week I've been searching trackdays at Jerez and found one that incorporates pillion rides.
Woo hoo. She'll love that. :)

It's her birthday in 2 weeks so told her this morning as an early prezzy so I can book the dates

She grinned big-time then her face slipped. Said she love it but would shit herself.

Then she said "I'd only do it if you were riding it'

Potter wrote: Sat Feb 24, 2024 10:43 am Mrs Potter told me this morning that my lads regiment must have taken them on a trip to a safari park, adding that the army is really good these days with the trips and things that they put on for the lads, etc.

I wondered what she was on about until she showed me a text from him (after she'd asked what he was up to) saying he was doing Wildcat familiarisation.
She replied back asking if there were any lions there as well.
Bad news is she's downloaded The Glucose Revolution
Bad news is she's downloaded The Glucose Revolution.

He's a helicopter tech in the REME
She thinks he was at the safari park.
Old man was REME.
Reached the highest NCO rank there was at the time in 4 years
However job advancement was readily available thanks to the Japanese!

Anyway, back to swmbo and the 🥤.
We had the weigh in this morning as, thankfully, it is all done with.
She, after the week had lost 1.8 kgs and admitted she didn't feel 'full of energy'.
Fatso here dropped 3.6kg and asked if we could do it again next week!
As an example, I'm now 1kg lighter than my summer weight, which I usually hit in late August.
So all in all, not too shabby.
Where's them crisps now!

Spotted an R1 on the way to Tesco's.

I said "You won't be able to buy them soon, not as road bikes anyway"

She said "should we buy one as an investment then?"

They still make those? I haven't seen one in probably 4 years, & that includes at the RockStore on Sundays.

Her (panicked): My car won't start! The key won't turn. It's stuck!! What am I going to do?'

Me: Wiggle the steering wheel a bit.

Her (voice rising in even more panic): That's not going to do anyth....oh, hang on. It's started. Thanks! Bye!

Slightly off topic (slightly :hmmm: ) but IMO one of the best segments Top Gear ever did was James and Jeremy asking "what was the first car with modem control layouts?" and driving all sorts of weird Model T era stuff.
